Monkey and Machine

I guess a good name for this week is “Gadgetweekend” since I got all these new and shiny gadgets :)

The Mediamarkt had an Ipod sale last week so I decided to go and have a look on Saturday. I was still using a 4 year old media player that looks like a brick (thanks Ronald for the hash words about your own media player :P ) so why the hell not should I get an Ipod. Well, there are actually a lot of reasons why i should not get an Ipod and these reasons kept me from buying one for over a year.

But once I was in the store and found out the Ipods were 40 euros off it was to hell with the reasons. And this is how I became the owner of a new, black Ipod Classic (cause the touch is for losers that don’t get to touch anything else :P ). Here’s a nice picture

But the fun had just started. I had another itch to scratch and it was that day again, the one were the stores are open on sunday. So off I went to buy me a Playstation 3. But damnit, the one store I wanted to buy it at was closed. So monday was the lucky day. Now I have to black shiny gadgets.

I have to say I really enjoy both of them. It’s great playing on the playstation with your housmates. Last night I played “Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune” with Ronald. We had great fun since Ronald sucks at shooting with the PS3 sticks :D (btw Steph, your invited to play aswell :D ).

Unfortunately, after my “Gadgetweekend” the week turned into “Workweek” :? . So it’s back to work again, I really mis gadgetweekend.
